West Ham were reportedly keen on Tottenham ace last year.

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly decided to listen to offers for midfielder Victor Wanyama this summer, The Evening Standard claim.
This could be a move which gets on West Ham’s radar, after their reported interest in the Kenyan late last year.
Goal claimed the Hammers were keen to lure Wanyama to the club.
The defensive midfielder has shaken off his injury troubles in recent months, but still he cannot force his way into Tottenham’s starting line up on a regular basis.
This is reason for Wanyama to consider a switch to West Ham if it is offered to him.
He would stand a better chance of playing regularly by switching to Tottenham’s rivals.

West Ham could use him as an alternative to Declan Rice if he is sold, in a worst case scenario.
In a best case scenario, Wanyama could take the pressure off Rice and ensure the Hammers do not over expose the youngster to too many games.
Given the former Southampton and Celtic midfielder’s availability and likely desire for a fresh challenge, this is a move the Hammers should consider once again.
