The Southampton winger could be a useful addition to the West Ham United squad.

Following the news that broke last week suggesting that Manuel Lanzini is set to miss the entirety of this season through injury, West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini will surely be looking to bolster his wide attacking ranks at the London Stadium this summer.
With this in mind, the Chilean should consider a move for Sofiane Boufal, who could be set to leave Southampton following his omission from the Saints’ pre-season tour to China, according to Sky Sports.

The 24-year-old joined Southampton from Lille in the summer of 2016, for a fee believed to be worth in the region of £16 million, but he has failed to establish himself on the south coast.
Every Love Island contestant if they were an England player – World Cup!
That isn’t to say that he doesn’t have a lot to offer at the very highest level, though, and it could be argued that he hasn’t really been given ample opportunity to shine on the south coast.
Boufal is a real maverick. He possesses enigmatic talent, and there is nothing that the West Ham faithful love more than a mercurial talent who can produce moments of magic from nothing – you need look no further than Paolo Di Canio and Dimitri Payet.

The Morocco international has pace in abundance and plays with a certain kind of directness that would undoubtedly help the Hammers improve upon the potency of their play in the final third.
West Ham should not face any problems in convincing the Saints to sell Boufal, and if they could get him for somewhere in the region of the £16 million that Southampton paid for his services two years ago, it could turn out to be a real coup for the east London outfit.
