Fulham are reportedly interested in signing Marko Grujic from Liverpool but should West Ham United revive their own January interest in the midfielder?

Fulham are interested in signing Marko Grujic this summer, according to Goal, although it is unclear whether they want the Liverpool midfielder on loan or on a permanent basis.
Grujic has struggled to assert himself at Anfield under manager Jurgen Klopp following a move from Red Star Belgrade in January 2016, making 14 first team appearances since.

However, the Serbia international did enjoy a successful 14-game loan spell at Cardiff City in the latter half of the 2017/18 season to help them get promoted from the Championship.
This could be what caught the Cottagers’ eye and while Grujic’s time with the Reds may be over with Fabinho having been signed and Naby Keita on his way, that does not mean the 22-year-old doesn’t still have plenty to offer in the Premier League.
Who else should be interested?
Before Grujic made the switch to Cardiff during the January transfer window, ESPN reported that West Ham United were keeping tabs on the Serbian.

New Hammers boss Manuel Pellegrini is clearly in the market for a new player in the middle of the park and has been linked with expensive deals for Nice’s Jean Michael Seri and Javier Pastore of Paris Saint-Germain by the Sun in recent times.
Yet perhaps Grujic could be a more affordable and realistic target for the East London club and someone who has great potential to improve with the right coaching.
