Should West Ham test Manchester United over Marcus Rashford this summer?

Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has been urged to consider his future at the club by Arsenal legend Thierry Henry.
Henry was speaking after Rashford’s struggle for game time since Alexis Sanchez’s arrival at Manchester United in late January.
He said, Goal reported: “Leave is a strong word. Obviously being from there, he wants to play for United. But he has to play and it is becoming even more difficult for him since Sanchez has arrived.
“I think at the end of the season, he is maybe going to have a thinking day of ‘do I stay?”

If Rashford was to push for an exit, United would not sell to a top Premier League rival. Manager Jose Mourinho has been burned this way before.
A club who should show interest is West Ham, who have been linked with Rashford before.
More than a year on, Rashford is finding it tougher than ever to get back to back league starts.

He has 13 starts this season and 12 substitute appearances, scoring four goals and providing five assists.
West Ham should continue to monitor the 20-year-old’s situation, and put both he and Manchester United to the test this summer.
If they can manage to tempt the England international, they may finally solve the strike problems which have plagued the club for years.
