West Ham United should consider a move for Paris Saint Germain star, after player’s agent makes exit admission.
During an interview with Italian radio show RadioGoal24, Thiago Motta’s agent Alessandro CanovI confirmed that his client will probably leave Paris Saint-Germain upon the expiration of his contract in the summer of 2017, as quoted by GetFootballNewsFrance, sparking rumours of reported interest from various clubs around Europe.
Canovi is quoted by GetFootballNewsFrance as telling RadioGoal24:
“Concerning PSG, the end of his contract is nearing and I don’t think he will extend. We are looking for other solutions, in Italy he has already done it all, he has won the league several times and he did the treble with Inter. At the age of 34 you live day by day, we are waiting for an exciting project but it is still very early.”

The 34-year-old’s potential availability should be seized upon by the Hammers, who are in need of quality and experience in the midfield area.
Mark Noble has been far from his best this season, and when he is off his game, West Ham’s performances seem to drop quite substantially, so the acquisition of someone of Motta’s calibre would be a huge step in the right direction for the East London side.
His technical ability when in possession of the football combined with his tenacious playing style is exactly what Bilic’s side lack at present, and his aggressive approach along with his defensive discipline would allow the Hammers’ more attack minded players the freedom to flourish.
For a deal to be at all possible, West Ham will have to, of course, improve upon their current position of 17th in the Premier League table, to at least give them a chance of attracting someone of Motta’s pedigree.
West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic
The Italian boasts a CV within the game that can be matched by few.
Seven league titles spread over three different European leagues have been matched by two Champions League winners medals, and he has represented his country on a regular basis, earning 30 caps for Italy.
His unquestionable experience of playing at the highest level would certainly help improve the Hammers side, and he would also be someone who the younger players at the club could learn from and even model themselves upon.
With the January window fast approaching, the West Ham hierarchy should consider a move that would test the French giant’s resolve, because faced with the possibility of losing him for nothing in the summer, they might just be willing to do business.
