West Ham United should make a move for out-of-favour Stoke City man.
The Hammers have really struggled during the first half of their campaign, and currently sit in 13th position in the Premier League table, just seven points clear of the relegation zone.
And they desperately need more quality in forward areas, after the performance levels of last season’s star performer Dimitri Payet have dropped, and none of the summer arrivals have made any kind of positive impact.
An intriguing option for West Ham would be Stoke City’s Bojan, who has already been linked with a move to Middlesbrough this month (Sky Sports).
Stoke City’s Bojan Krkic in action
The 26-year-old former Barcelona man has been a success on the whole, since his move to the Potteries, but has fallen out of favour with Stoke boss Mark Hughes, after his recent poor showings.
The 26-year-old seems like he has been around forever, and obviously still has a lot to offer at the highest level, despite his struggles of late.
He can play anywhere along the frontline, and would be a fantastic foil for the likes of Payet and Manuel Lanzini, if he was deployed behind someone like Andy Carroll.
Since his move to Stoke in the summer of 2014, he has scored 14 goals in 52 Premier League outings, but it is his all-round game which could prove to be such an asset for West Ham.
Stoke City’s Bojan Krkic celebrates
His ability to link up with the likes of Payet would be a tantalising prospect for Hammers fans, and one that Bilic should pursue this month.
His presence in the side would also surely help bring the best out in Andy Carroll, and would make the Hammers a far more dangerous prospect in an attacking sense.
Also, a change in scenery, and a fresh start for Bojan, could be just what he needs in order to rediscover his best form.
