West Bromwich Albion wanted to sign Robert Snodgrass from Hull City before he joined West Ham United in January.
West Ham United’s Robert Snodgrass
The Daily Mirror reported in January that West Brom were battling West Ham in the race to sign Robert Snodgrass following his brilliant first few months in the Premier League with Hull City.
While the Baggies ultimately lost that race as he moved to the London Stadium, it may be worth Tony Pulis keeping the winger on his radar as he continues to struggle with the Hammers.
In six appearances for the Irons, the 29-year-old has looked bright at times, but is yet to register a goal or assist and a continuation of that run will surely not go down too well with the West Ham faithful.
If he continues to struggle, and the Hammers decide to cut their losses and cash in this summer before his value drops any further, then West Brom should be the club that offers him another chance to prove what he did at Hull was not a fluke.

Snodgrass was exceptional at the KCOM Stadium, scoring seven and contributing three assists and it should arguably be easier for him to achieve those kind of numbers in an impressive West Brom side than it was at Hull.
And with the Baggies looking for that additional ingredient that will help them perhaps push even further up the table, replicating that kind of form at the Hawthorns would undoubtedly strengthen their chances of moving even closer to the top seven.
