Stoke City playmaker Bojan faces a crucial summer with the Potters, so perhaps West Bromwich Albion should prepare to make a move.

West Brom may have been left surprised by Darren Fletcher’s decision to switch the Hawthorns for Stoke last week, but the Baggies should now consider responding by giving one of the Potters’ most talented players the chance to really thrive in the Premier League.

Bojan had enjoyed a decent spell with Stoke following his surprise move to the club in 2014, but seemed to fall out of favour this past season and ultimately left the club on loan in January.

If Mark Hughes still does not have the Spaniard in his plans, then West Brom should target making a move for the winger as he could be an excellent addition to Tony Pulis’ ranks.

The creativity provided by the likes of Matt Phillips and Nacer Chadli this past season was one of the main reasons that the Baggies enjoyed such a promising campaign for much of the year, and adding the former Barcelona and Ajax man would surely enable them to carry an even greater threat.

With just two senior strikers in the squad currently, that additional attacking strength will undoubtedly be extremely welcome, and may help West Brom avoid tailing off in the manner they did this past season.

And if Hughes decides that Bojan is still not in his plans, it may not be out of the question to suggest that the 26-year-old could be available for a very appealing price given his ability.

And if that proves to be the case, West Brom should undoubtedly make a move and give Bojan the platform to potentially prove that Hughes was wrong to write him off.
