Manchester United youngster Marcus Rashford has found his playing time limited since the appointment of Jose Mourinho as manager, and there is a genuine danger that if he continues to be omitted from the starting line-up over the course of the next 12-18 months, his development could be adversely affected.
A temporary resolution for all parties concerned, however, could be a season-long loan move away from Old Trafford next term.
And the Baggies should really consider making an offer for the 19-year-old.
He has made just 10 Premier League starts for United so far this term, and it is quite clear that Mourinho favours seasoned winners over the unpredictability of youth, as he has done throughout the entirety of his managerial career.
And the Hawthorns could be the ideal destination for the Man United forward to prove his true worth.
He is obviously still very highly regarded at Old Trafford, so any kind of permeant deal for him would be out of the question.
The benefits of a loan deal, however, would be hard to ignore for the player and the clubs involved.

He would provide Tony Pulis with the opportunity to play with two strikers up front, and the contrasting styles of Salomon Rondon and Rashford would compliment each other perfectly.
West Brom have performed superbly well this season, and currently sit in eighth position in the table, but it is obvious to see that they need extra firepower in the forward department, if they are to reach even higher levels next term.
And Rashford could be just the man for the job.
The England international striker would also reap the rewards of gaining more regular first-team football at the Hawthorns, should a move come to fruition.
