West Bromwich Albion may have to replace three of their centre-backs this summer, so perhaps a move for the West Ham United starlet should be tempting.

While Darren Moore’s temporary tenure has ensured that West Brom have gone down to the Championship with plenty of momentum and optimism, it seems unlikely that there will not be a few darker days ahead for the Baggies before they kick off their second tier campaign.
West Brom’s squad was, on paper, significantly better than one that finishes at the bottom of the Premier League table and Moore may thus, be expecting to lose a number of his key players this summer.

Ahmed Hegazi (via The Sun), Jonny Evans (via Leicester Mercury) and Craig Dawson (via Daily Mirror) have all been linked with moves away from The Hawthorns during the coming months, so strengthening their centre-back options has to be one of Moore’s main priorities.
One of the players that they must consider is Reece Burke, the West Ham starlet that The Times has reported Manuel Pellegrini is prepared to sell this summer.

It is perhaps a surprise that the Hammers are seemingly ready to let the academy graduate leave the London Stadium this summer as he appears to have plenty of potential – and West Brom should look to capitalise on the Irons’ potential mistake.
Burke boasts some Championship experience having enjoyed loan spells with Wigan Athletic and Bolton Wanderers in recent seasons and he could arguably prove to be a very shrewd signing this summer.
Moore may well be hoping to inject more youth in his West Brom side given that a number of players in their current squad may be edging past their peaks, and signing Burke would be the perfect way for the Baggies to start making that statement that they want to put this past season behind them in every sense.
Signing players such as Burke could be a smart move, not only because he would help make up for the centre-back exodus that West Brom fans may be expecting. Moore may also find that after a year of playing regularly in the Championship, he has a player on his books who may be ready to make the step up to the Premier League if the Baggies make their second tier stay a very brief one.
