Stoke City are reportedly interested in signing Andre Gray from Watford in a £15million deal but should West Bromwich Albion be rivalling them?

Watford manager Javi Gracia looks set to completely revamp his strike force with the sale of captain Troy Deeney and Andre Gray, according to the Daily Star.
The Hornets are looking for around £10m for Deeney, while Gray has been linked with a £15m switch to recently relegated Stoke City.

Who should challenge the Potters?
It seems that Gray may have to drop into the Championship to get his career back on track having endured a difficult first campaign at Vicarage Road after joining from Burnley.

The 26-year-old managed five goals in 31 Premier League games in 2017/18 and the striker is clearly not in Gracia’s plans going forward.
Another side who, like Stoke, have just dropped out of the top flight of English football who could be looking for a new forward is West Bromwich Albion.

As the Mirror have recently reported, both Jay Rodriguez and Salomon Rondon are expected to leave the Baggies this summer and therefore more firepower up front will be needed to replace them.
Perhaps Gray, with his 41 goals in 88 games in England’s second tier, could be exactly the sort of player that the Baggies need.
