Baggies boss Tony Pulis has guided his side to a fairly satisfactory start to their 2017/18 Premier League campaign, but their toothless nature in front of goal continues to be an issue, with just four goals scored in their opening six Premier League outings.
If West Brom are to enjoy a successful league campaign this season, and improve upon their 10th placed finish last term, they will surely be targeting the signing of an accomplished forward during the January transfer window.
And with this in mind, Pulis should consider a move for Barcelona ace Paco Alcacer, who is attracting interest from Southampton and Crystal Palace, according to talkSPORT.

The 24-year-old has struggled to stamp his authority on the Barca side, since moving to the Camp Nou from Valencia in the summer of 2016, but he still has a lot to offer at the very highest level.
He possesses undoubted quality, and his nouse and know-how in and around the penalty area would offer the Baggies a totally different edge to their attacking play.
The Spaniard has wonderful vision, and an impeccable first touch. He also possesses the enviable talent of being able to time his runs in behind the opposition defence to perfection. This particular skill would provide Pulis’ side with a far more potent feel to their play in the final third.

Alcacer would be the perfect foil for Jay Rodriguez, with the pairs’ differing attributes being perfectly suited to make the ideal combination.
And Pulis should not hesitate to bring he 24-year-old to the Hawthorns in January.
