Ismaila Sarr is yet to start a Premier League game for Watford but the game against Newcastle United on Saturday could be perfect for him.

Watford’s Premier League campaign has gotten off to the worst possible start. The Hornets have lost all three of their games so far and are stranded at the bottom of the league table.
Brighton, Everton and West Ham proved too much for them over the last three weeks but a cup win last night has brought some positivity back to Vicarage Road.
Javi Gracia’s men convincingly brushed aside Coventry 3-0 thanks to goals from Ismaila Sarr, Daryl Janmaat and Adalberto Peñaranda. Sarr was undoubtedly the player who was looked at the most by Watford fans after his club-record move from Rennes on deadline day.
The Senegalese international did not disappoint as he opened the scoring in the 37th minute but he did show a bit of rustiness before that moment. His clever runs down the right flank were exciting but the end product was missing until he calmly finished his chance to put his side ahead.
The goal certainly gave Sarr a boost in confidence as he looked much better in the second half before he was withdrawn in the 72nd minute to a standing ovation from the crowd. With his confidence as high as ever after netting his debut goal for his new club, should Gracia hand him his first Premier League start this weekend?

The Hornets take on a Newcastle United side who picked up a massive win against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday and the game will by no means be easy. However, Watford are desperate for points even at this early stage of the season and unleashing their record signing could give them the boost to get off the mark in the league.
Gracia has gone with narrow formations in his opening three games but a switch to a system with genuine width could give them the goals that they need. Sarr, as he showed with Rennes last season in France, thrives in the wider areas and he could make a serious difference against the Magpies who looked incredibly solid against Spurs a few days ago.
