Tottenham Hotspur are one of a number of Premier League clubs reportedly interested in signing Burnley defender Michael Keane.

A recent report from the Daily Mirror suggested that Tottenham were one of the clubs keeping a keen eye on Burnley defender Michael Keane, but also suggested that it may take an offer of £30 million to make a deal happen.
With a number of top Premier League clubs interested (via Mirror), it may not be a surprise if the price ends up rising as there is the potential for a bidding war to ensue.
So, perhaps Spurs should offer the Clarets Kevin Wimmer to try and swing the odds in their favour and potentially keep the price down somewhat.
Wimmer has struggled to establish himself since arriving at White Hart Lane, so Pochettino will surely have few qualms about using him as part of the deal if it helps bring Keane through the door.

And while the Austrian may be somewhat hesitant about leaving a team that has battled for the title over the last couple of seasons and is looking to establish themselves as regulars in the Champions League, the opportunity to enjoy regular first-team football at Turf Moor may be too difficult to turn down.
And if Wimmer’s departure aids Tottenham’s chances of landing Keane ahead of the other sides chasing his signature, then it would surely be an excellent piece of business and would arguably send out a major statement about how attractive a move to Spurs now is in comparison to all of their title and top four rivals.
