According to a recent report from the Daily Express, Tottenham Hotspur are ready to sell Moussa Sissoko, and AC Milan are keen on the £30 million flop who has endured a largely miserable year at White Hart Lane.

Although other clubs are interested in the Frenchman – the Express reports that Serie A rivals Inter as well as Crystal Palace want the former Newcastle man – Spurs should perhaps consider engineering a deal with the Rossoneri as it could boost their chances of landing one of their targets this summer.

According to a report from the Daily Mirror earlier this month, Tottenham want to hand former Liverpool man Suso the chance to come back to the Premier League after his brilliant season at the San Siro.

The 23-year-old has scored six times and contributed seven assists for AC Milan in the top flight, and his versatility means that he would be able to play in an attacking midfield role, or provide more support for Harry Kane up front.

If Tottenham decide that Suso is a target that they definitely want to pursue this summer, then it would surely make sense to try and engineer a swap deal with Milan as they surely do not want to hold onto Sissoko any longer if they have deemed him to be surplus to requirements as his value will surely drop further.

And if a swap deal did take place, and Suso subsequently replicated the form he has shown this season, then it would surely have to go down as a brilliant piece of business from Tottenham.
