Tottenham undoubtedly need to add more depth this summer as they look to make a greater impact in the Champions League while also having an even better go at challenging for the Premier League title.

One player who should perhaps be monitored by Mauricio Pochettino during the final weeks of the season is Valencia starlet Santi Mina, who is showing glimpses that suggest that he could become a very special player in the future.

Mina has been fairly impressive at the Mestalla this year, but could arguably benefit from working with Pochettino and alongside the attacking players that Spurs have.

The 21-year-old has scored six times in La Liga this term, while also contributing two assists. And while that tally is not the most impressive on paper when you consider that he has made 23 league appearances, 12 of those appearances have come from the bench.

And in his most recent appearance – the 3-1 win over Granada, who have since appointed former Arsenal man Tony Adams as manager until the end of the season – Mina scored an excellent goal and set up another with a brilliant cross for former West Ham flop Simone Zaza.

His ability to play up front and out on the wing could be extremely beneficial, and working under Pochettino may give him an excellent chance of realising the tremendous amount of potential he possesses, and may give Spurs another option to help as they try to battle on several fronts over the coming years.
