King is far from happy at Bournemouth, just a year after being reportedly targeted by Tottenham.

Just a year on from Tottenham Hotspur’s reported interest, AFC Bournemouth forward Joshua King has stated just how “unhappy” he is at the Vitality Stadium and is set to consider his future this summer.
King, 26, told Norwegian outlet VG that he is far from content with the Cherries and has made his feelings well known to manager Eddie Howe, after the boss decided to change his position from striker to slightly deeper.
It has seen former Manchester United striker King play out wide or in the number 10 role this term, which saw him fail to replicate his Premier League goal return of 2016-17. He got 16 last season, but only half of that this time around.

The Telegraph claimed last summer that Norway international King was a £30million target for Spurs, in a move that would see him play second fiddle to Harry Kane.
However, it seems as though Spurs missed out on King and instead Mauricio Pochettino decided to sign Fernando Llorente from Swansea City. But fast forward a year, and the Spanish target man is likely to leave.
It means that Spurs need a striker and with King unhappy, and unlikely to cost last summer’s £30million price tag, Tottenham should surely reignite their interest in the speed demon.

Vincent Janssen also remains on the books at Spurs, but an injury-plagued season on loan with Fenerbahce is likely to see his future at Tottenham suffer a dead end this summer.
A proven Premier League striker, King would surely be a better alternative than the stuttering duo of Llorente and Janssen and Pochettino must convince Daniel Levy to reignite the club’s interest in poacher King.
