Four Premier League sides have sent scouts to watch Jacob Murphy, so perhaps Tottenham Hotspur should reignite their interest before he moves elsewhere.

Back in January, the Daily Mirror suggested that Tottenham were rivalling Liverpool and Everton for Jacob Murphy’s signature following his bright start to the season with Norwich City.
While a move never materialised on that occasion, Spurs should arguably consider reviving their interest this summer before he heads elsewhere.
The 22-year-old is attracting attention from four Premier League clubs – Southampton, West Brom, Crystal Palace and Swansea – according to the Daily Mirror, and while he may not be ready to be an important player for Mauricio Pochettino’s squad just yet if he did join this summer, they should perhaps consider making a move to prevent him signing for a top flight rival.
Murphy went into the past campaign having not made his league debut for the Canaries, but still managed to score nine goals and contribute six assists in the league from the wing.

That kind of return surely makes spending the £7 million that he is reportedly valued at (via Mirror) seem like a smart thing to do, especially as he could perhaps get considerably better with more experience.
He may be some way off being the finished product currently, but with the Mirror reporting that he is likely to move to the top flight this summer, Tottenham would surely be wise to get back into the running in the hope that he can raise his game significantly in the future.
He certainly hinted during this past season that he has the potential to step up.
