Tottenham Hotspur should seriously look at an evergreen Italian ripping up Serie A right now.

It looks like Tottenham Hotspur might have to replace Fernando Llorente this summer.
Spurs have missed the deadline to trigger the Spaniard’s contract extension and, for now, it seems like he’ll be leaving North London.
Llorente has scored some big goals for Tottenham in recent months but, bigger picture, he won’t be a hard player to replace, having netted only 11 times in 65 games overall.
And should Mauricio Pochettino look at Sampdoria Fabio Quagliarella by way of potential replacements?
Yes, he is 36, but the Italian marksman, who turns 37 in January, has rolled back the years this season, netting 26 Serie A goals in 36 games – five more than Cristiano Ronaldo, which proves he can still cut it at a very high level.
Long term, Quagliarella isn’t the viable back-up striker for Harry Kane that Tottenham need, but in the short term it’s a fine option to have and perhaps it gives Pochettino more money to address more urgent positions.
According to Calciomercato, Napoli are interested in signing him this summer, but Spurs should rival the Italian giants.
He is Serie A’s top goalscorer this season as things stand and, with his contract set to expire next summer, he wouldn’t break the bank.
