If Tottenham Hotspur do have to sell Christian Eriksen to PSG, they should make sure that they Julian Draxler in return.

Spurs are unlikely to want to sell Eriksen, but PSG have the financial strength to put them under pressure.
The French giants are said to be preparing a £100 million offer for the Dane, and that could turn his head.
In an ideal world, Tottenham would just keep hold of Eriksen – but doing so could be easier said than done.

And if Spurs are to think about losing Eriksen, they should at least think about making what would be a stunning trade deal.
If Spurs could get money and Draxler for Eriksen, the impact of the attacking midfielder’s departure would at least be softened.

Draxler is a wonderful talent, but his development has, perhaps, been stifled by a move to PSG.
The German has not played particularly regularly for Unai Emery’s side, with the addition of Neymar blocking his progress.
And at least if Draxler was to arrive at Spurs, they would not suffer too much of a loss of quality from Eriksen’s departure.
