According to the Daily Express, PSG are lining up a bid for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen but the only way Mauricio Pochettino’s side should even contemplate doing a deal is if they get Julian Draxler in return.

Draxler is a wonderful talent, but his development has, perhaps, been stifled by a move to PSG.

The German has not played particularly regularly for Unai Emery’s side, with the addition of Neymar blocking his progress.

And at least if Draxler was to arrive at Spurs, they would not suffer too much of a loss of quality from Eriksen’s departure.
