Tottenham Hotspur youngster is not progressing as the club might have hoped.

Two years ago Tottenham Hotspur youngster Tashan Oakley-Boothe made his first team debut for the club in the EFL Cup.
He featured as a late substitute against Barnsley, and it looked like just the beginning for the promising midfielder.
Oakley-Boothe went on to help England win the under-17 World Cup, but like many of that team, he has found it hard to kick on since at club level.
This week emphasised Oakley-Boothe’s lack of progress.
As Tottenham played in the Carabao Cup against Colchester this week, Oakley-Boothe was not even in the squad.
The night before he had been in action for the under-23 side, who limped to a 4-0 defeat against Blackburn Rovers.

It highlighted that Oakley-Boothe, now 19, has a lot of work to do in order to turn his trajectory around.
The central midfielder plays in one of the most competitive positions in the Tottenham team.
He has been overtaken at Spurs by Oliver Skipp, who is regularly involved with the first team and started last night.
One option may be for Oakley-Boothe to request a loan move in January, but this is not necessarily a pathway to success at Spurs.
Tottenham have so many midfield options it is unclear whether they will worry, or care, if the young prospect does not fulfil his potential, but they really should.
