Andrej Kramaric has been fantastic in the Bundesliga, so perhaps Tottenham Hotspur should make a move this summer.
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino
With Vincent Janssen struggling to make a regular impression at Tottenham, it would hardly be a surprise if Mauricio Pochettino made signing another striker a priority this summer.
Harry Kane’s injury problems have arguably hurt the side this season, and with another Champions League campaign probably on the horizon next term, they surely cannot afford to not strengthen their goalscoring options if they hope to make an impact both domestically and on the continent.
One striker who should perhaps be catching Pochettino’s eye is a name that may not initially capture the imagination amongst Spurs fans given his previous experience in the Premier League, but is a player that has reportedly already been on their radar in the past.
Andrej Kramaric was being targeted by Tottenham in 2014, according to the Sunday People, but did not arrive in England until Leicester signed him in January 2015.
The move to the King Power Stadium never really worked out for the Croatian and he returned to former club Hoffenheim one year later before signing permanently last summer.
Andrej Kramaric
And back in the Bundesliga, he has really proved why the Foxes wanted to sign him in the first place, scoring 12 times and contributing seven assists in 28 league games this term, including the winner against Bayern Munich in one of his more recent appearances.
That form – as well as the versatility he possesses – would suggest that he may be the ideal understudy to Harry Kane, and while Spurs fans may not be convinced about a player who struggled so much to get into the Leicester team, it must not be forgotten that the two teams adopt vastly different styles so a move to Tottenham may help bring the best out of him.
