Tottenham Hotspur need a way to replace Harry Kane.

Harry Kane’s injury presents a problem for Tottenham Hotspur to address, with pressure on Vincent Janssen to step up.

Janssen was unable to do so earlier this season, with Heung Min-Son outshining him. Further options include giving Kazaiah Sterling a chance to step up from the academy, or looking at the first team for another solution.

Perhaps the best option, if Tottenham are prepared to experiment a little, could be midfield ace Dele Alli.

The 20-year-old has shown a prolific touch this season and a real eye for goal throughout his career.

His shot conversion rate is second only to Harry Kane, netting one in five of his attempts on goal.

This also outshines a number of high profile strikers in the Premier League this season, including Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez and Manchester United’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Alli has scored 50 career goals already at club level during his time at MK Dons and Tottenham Hotspur, showing an ability to finish with either foot and his head.

Whether as a ‘false nine’ or an out and out striker, moving him up top on a temporary basis could be a clever move by Mauricio Pochettino.
