The Arsenal midfielder would be a useful addition for Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino will surely be looking to bolster his midfield ranks over the course of the next two transfer windows, with Mousa Dembele’s contract set to expire in the summer, and Victor Wanyama facing an uncertain future in north London.
And one potential option for Spurs, all be it a long shot, could be Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsey, who will be available on a free transfer in the summer, should he fail to agree fresh terms with the Gunners.
The Lilywhites infamously lost Sol Campbell to Arsenal on a free transfer in the summer of 2001, and they could gain long overdue revenge on their bitter rivals by nabbing the Wales international at the end of the season.
The 27-year-old is a box-to-box midfielder by trade, and he possesses exceptional technical ability.
Whilst he doesn’t have the same power as Mousa Dembele, he has more energy than the Belgian, and his playing style makes him ideally suited to Pochettino’s high-tempo setup.
The former Cardiff City man excels when implementing the high press from midfield, and he could prove to be a valuable asset for Spurs.
It would obviously be a move that Ramsey would have to think long and hard about, and he might just prefer to make the switch abroad, rather than joining Arsenal’s fiercest rivals.

Tottenham should at least explore the possibility of bringing the Gunners ace across north London, however.
It would be a transfer that would send shockwaves through the community, 18 years after Campbell made the switch in the opposite direction.
