New Leeds United boss Thomas Christiansen tended to favour a 4-4-2 system during his previous job, so perhaps he may try a similar tactic with the Whites.

According to Transfermarkt, Thomas Christiansen favoured using a 4-4-2 system during his time with APOEL, so perhaps it may not be out of the question to suggest that he may try and implement a similar tactic at Leeds.
Should that prove to be the case, perhaps Christiansen should consider using Souleymane Doukara up front alongside Chris Wood more often given that he has occasionally shown glimpses of being a difference maker when deployed as a striker.
Doukara predominantly played as a winger during Garry Monk’s year in charge, and did fairly well – scoring arguably one of the finest goals Elland Road has seen for a number of years when he scored a stunning, thunderous volley against Nottingham Forest – but probably not well enough to expect to play there regularly next term.
Though the 25-year-old is a divisive figure amongst a large section of the Leeds supporters, he has proved a handful when given a chance up front, most notably, changing the game when brought on early on in the 3-2 win away at Wolves in December 2015 when Leeds were playing 4-4-2.
Souleymane Doukara
Though he did not score on that day, his presence allowed the previously-isolated Chris Wood to get into the game, and enabled the side to turn the game on its head.
Marcus Antonsson and Kemar Roofe are surely deserving of being Christiansen’s first-choices when he is deciding who to pick to play alongside Wood if he does plan to use 4-4-2, but there is no perhaps no reason why the new Whites boss should rule out using Doukara as a potential secret weapon.
He may not be prolific, but he could prove a valuable option up front next season if given a chance.
