After two years as head coach and just three days after winning the German Cup, Thomas Tuchel and Borussia Dortmund have parted company.
Until a successor for Tuchel is appointed it is inevitable that the members of the Dortmund squad will feel a certain level of uncertainty over their futures at the club – meaning it could be the ideal time for interested teams to strike for transfer targets.

That is why it is a development that Tottenham Hotspur should be keeping a close eye on if they want to make a serious move for teenage sensation, Christian Pulisic.
The Daily Mail reported last month that Spurs were keeping tabs on the 18-year-old after an impressive season in the Black and Yellows’ first team, in which he made 43 appearances in all competitions and scored five goals.
Tottenham are even said to have sent chief scout Steve Hitchen to watch Pulisic – who is attracting plenty of admirers from across Europe – in action for Dortmund during a Champions League clash with AS Monaco.

The youngster has enjoyed an incredible rise to fame over the past 18 months since breaking into the first team at the Westfalenstadion and now also has 13 caps for the USA.
Initially considered a winger, Pulisic has the ability to also play as a number ten and even as a striker, and with an impressive work rate to boot, he would give Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino plenty to work with should he be tempted to North London.
