Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to continue their progress as one of the most exciting teams in Europe when the summer transfer window opens.
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino
Spurs, who remain in the hunt for the Premier League title, will be looking to build on their huge progress under Mauricio Pochettino this summer after some disappointing recruitment this season.
Tottenham will have the incentive of Champions League football, playing at Wembley and living in London to offer potential new signings.
And Pochettino could use that leverage to go big for a player widely tipped for world stardom, Porto’s Andre Silva.
That’s after reports from France Football that Portuguese star Silva, 21, is being touted around clubs in France by super agent Jorge Mendes, who also represents Cristiano Ronaldo.
Silva, who already has 23 goals from 51 appearances for Porto and five in his first six for Portugal, has reportedly been offered to the likes of Paris Saint Germain and Marseille in Ligue 1 by Mendes.

Silva has a contract with Porto until 2021 but has a much-publicised exit clause worth £50million, a figure that would not unduly trouble a club of Spurs’ financial clout and current status.
Andre Silva has a frightening goal record already
Pochettino and Daniel Levy know Tottenham must get it right this summer after some poor recruitment this season with over £47 million spent on flops Moussa Sissoko and Vincent Janssen alone.
Neither player has added the quality required to elevate the North Londoners to title front runners.
But a marquee signing like Silva would not only make a statement across the football world but also give Pochettino’s side a genuine striker pool capable of domestic and European success.
