Rangers appointed Portuguese manager Pedro Caixinha as their new boss at Ibrox earlier this month . A pivotal figure in the appointment of the Portuguese was Pedro Mendes. The former Rangers midfielder is the agent of Caixinha, who took over from Mark Warburton.
Mendes works for the MNM Sports Agency and it is fair to suggest that the club may be looking at some players from that agency to strengthen the team.
One such player, they could sign right now on a free transfer.
Mario Rondon is currently a free agent following his release by Chinese side Shijiazhuang Ever Bright in November. The Chinese side had brought in another foreign player in Matheus from Dnipro and dropped Rondon as a consequence.
The Venezuelan, who has Portuguese nationality, is a talented forward who can play through the middle or out wide and would be a good signing for Rangers.

He played under Caixinha at Nacional and could make an immediate impact at Rangers given his obvious talent and attacking skills.
Rangers would be making a good move if they brought Rondon to Glasgow.
