The Dane’s brother Brian is a legend at Ibrox and Rangers would be getting a quality manager.
Michael Laudrup, former Swansea City Manager
Rangers are currently on the hunt for a new manager, after the recent departure of Mark Warburton.
Plenty of names have been mentioned for the role, including some big ones, as Rangers look to make an eye-catching appointment.
One name that they might want to consider is that of Michael Laudrup.
The former Swansea City boss has a Rangers connection of sorts. His younger brother Brian spent four years at Ibrox where he is considered a cult hero, especially for his performance in the 1996 Scottish Cup final.
But the older Laudrup could be a brilliant appointment in Glasgow. He did well during his time at Swansea and also has a good record from his spell managing in Spanish football.

Nowadays he works in Qatar, and only took up the manager role at Al Rayyan in October.
But Rangers are still a desirable side, especially with his brother’s advice likely to be positive, and Glasgow would love to see Laudrup going head-to-head with Brendan Rodgers in the near future.
Having a Laudrup around Ibrox again would certainly be welcomed at Rangers currently.
