Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers should consider poaching Youssouf Mulumbu from a Scottish Premiership rival.

Rangers boss Graeme Murty was firmly put in his place over recent Sean Goss comments today. Goss, on loan at Rangers from QPR until this summer, has been brilliant under Murty since joining the Scottish Premiership side in January.
And the Gers manager claimed earlier this week that he would be interested in signing the 22-year-old on a permanent basis, in comments which were rubbished by QPR boss Ian Holloway, who claimed he’d be returning to Loftus Road.
If a permanent move for Goss is unlikely, should the Ibrox club turn their attentions toward Kilmarnock’s Youssouf Mulumbu?

The 31-year-old is out of contract at Rugby Park this summer after signing a short-term deal earlier this season, but Killie boss Steve Clarke – who worked with him at West Brom – will be desperate to keep him.
Mulumbu has been a revelation for the Premiership side and produced a barnstorming display against top-of-the-table Celtic last month – and scored the winning goal in the same game.

Any player who impresses against Brendan Rodgers’s side is an interesting proposition and given his Premier League experience, Mulumbu could be a fantastic addition at Rangers.
He obviously has an affinity for Clarke, but surely Rangers have the prestige and the finances to make him seriously consider swapping Rugby Park for Ibrox and, if Goss can’t be signed, Mulumbu might be the next best thing.
