Junior Hoilett is available on a free transfer, and would make a fantastic signing for Rangers.
Rangers manager Mark Warburton
Glasgow Rangers have made a steady, if not spectacular, start on their return to the Scottish Premiership after their four-year absence, with two wins and two draws coming from their opening four games.
Despite a number of useful, experienced additions, there is still room for further improvement in the squad, and one department in particular where Mark Warburton should be looking to strengthen is the wide attacking areas.
Former Queens Park Rangers and Blackburn Rovers winger Junior Hoilett is available on a free transfer and would be a superb, cost-effective option for Rangers to explore.

The Canadian international is only 26-years-old, and still has a lot to offer in the game. He is vastly experienced, despite his age, having played 214 games in English football during his seven-year spell, after he moved to Blackburn as a 19-year-old.
He has explosive pace, and his style is direct in nature, which would provide Rangers with an entirely different option in their attacking play.
Warburton faces an almighty struggle to close the gap on leaders Celtic, and not from just a points perspective. The Hoops have a far more established side than Rangers, after the 54-times Scottish League champions have been languishing in the lower divisions of Scottish football for the past four seasons.

In order to compete with their fierce rivals, Rangers must ensure that their recruitment policy is spot-on, with a fair mixture of both established players and youth prospects with high levels of potential brought into the club.
The acquisition of Hoilett would be a good place to start, and if a move came to fruition, he would instantly improve the Rangers side, and provide Warburton with the option of introducing a somewhat unknown quantity for opposition defences to deal with.
Whether Rangers could afford his wage demands is another matter, but with no transfer fee required, they should be in a good position to at least make him an offer that would tempt him into a move to Ibrox.
