Could fans of Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers see Dapo Mebude tomorrow?

There is going to be an Alfredo Morelos-shaped hole in Rangers squad tomorrow.
The 22-year-old hitman is suspended for Sunday’s trip to Dundee after picking up a red card in midweek.
Kyle Lafferty is almost certain to lead Rangers’ attack tomorrow, but a debut for one Dapo Mebude doesn’t seem a million miles away.
The 17-year-old has been in outstanding form for the Gers’ youth sides this season, prompting Steven Gerrard to bring him to Moscow for a Europa League game last month.
Mebude never made the bench that night, but he might well do so tomorrow and if that’s the case then a long-awaited debut may be on the cards.
‘If you’re good enough then you’re old enough’ is an adage in football circles and one that Gerrard seems to believe, having brought 18-year-old Glenn Middleton into the first team this season.
Mebude might well be Rangers’ next best thing after Middleton and it is fascinating to see if the Ibrox boss uses Morelos’s absence as a reason to name him on the bench.
