Newcastle United have been struggling to sign a new striker, but perhaps they already have someone ready and raring to go.

Chronicle Live reported last month that Daniel Sturridge was offered to the club, and there were talks with Alassane Plea before he moved to Borussia Monchengladbach according to Sky Sports.
Following the return of Islam Slimani to Leicester City after his loan, Newcastle are looking a bit light up top, with Joselu and Dwight Gayle the only out-and-out striking options. Aleksandar Mitrovic could still join Fulham.
