Back in April it was being reported that Nottingham Forest were keen on snapping up Josh Wright from League One side Gillingham – according to a report from The Sun.
The report claimed that Mark Warburton is a fan of the player. The 27-year-old has been in fine form for Gillingham, playing 47 times for the club and scoring 14 goals last season.

Out of contract with Gillingham in 2018, Forest could reportedly get their man for as little as £100,000 this summer.
But since then, the interest has not been reported again.
General view inside the City Ground
Forest will surely be looking to improve the squad this summer and Warburton will be looking to put his own stamp on the team.
There has been upheaval at the City Ground yet again, with Evangelos Marinakis’ takeover of the club finally going through this summer – which has surely not helped Warburton push through any potential transfer targets.

It could also be the the goalposts have changed, and bargain buys like Wright are not entirely necessary.
But at £100k Forest would be mad not to make a move for the player this summer.
