Nottingham Forest have loaned out Zach Clough to Bolton Wanderers for the rest of the season.

Nottingham Forest may have made a mistake by letting Zach Clough leave on loan in the January transfer window.
Aitor Karanka decided that Clough was expendable at Forest on deadline day, as he made room for a raft of new additions.
However, the youngster has made a very positive start to life at Bolton Wanderers.

Clough scored for Bolton last night, as Phil Parkinson’s side got past Sunderland.
And Forest may now be regretting allowing Clough to leave last month, as he could still have proved valuable for them.
Forest have been unable to find a striker capable of scoring goals for them with any regularity.

Although Clough struggled at Forest over the early part of the campaign, he was never really given a consistent run of games.
And if Clough does continue to hit the back of the net for Bolton, then Karanka may feel that he made an error allowing the youngster to depart just weeks ago.
