Everton midfielder Kieran Dowell has barely featured for Marco Silva’s side since departing from Nottingham Forest.

Dowell spent last season on loan at Forest where he played often, and got a taste for regular action.
Since returning to Everton he has barely featured though, and Dowell suggested that he was growing tired of sitting on the substitutes’ bench.
“That’s been the frustrating thing at the moment – not getting as much game time,” the England youth international said.
Dowell looks unlikely to get regular action at Everton this season, with Gylfi Sigurdsson now in fine form.
And it may be that a move back to Forest could suit everyone involved.

Aitor Karanka’s side may have improved their attacking options over the summer, but Dowell could still add quality to their midfield ranks.
Dowell hit nine goals in the Championship for Forest last term, and proved beyond any doubt that he is a major threat in the second tier.
And if it is possible to do a deal for the Everton man then Forest would be wise to pursue it in the option, as Dowell could be tempted to return to the City Ground if the opportunity arises.
