With Newcastle facing potential difficulty in signing Kenedy permanently this summer, they should turn to Leicester star Ahmed Musa.

As reported by Chronicle Live, Newcastle United may face a tough ask to sign Chelsea winger Kenedy permanently this summer, and Rafael Benitez will need alternative targets in case he fails in his pursuit of the Brazilian.
Kenedy impressed at St. James’ Park last season during his temporary spell from Chelsea, and the Spaniard has made him his number one priority ahead of the new season.

But the 58-year-old apparently faces ‘stiff competition’ to sign the former Fluminense youngster according to Chronicle Live, and therefore needs to consider other options – and Leicester City man Ahmed Musa could be the answer.

Musa has had a tough time since pitching up at the King Power Stadium in 2016, making just 33 appearances for the club, only one of which came last season.
But the 25-year-old delivered a big reminder of his ability in the recent World Cup match for Nigeria against Iceland with two excellents goals during a man of the match display.
Clearly Musa has energy and pace in abundance, and that could be something of real use for Newcastle, who actually don’t have too many players with such attributes.

Kenedy was a player who had them, but with the Magpies potential facing difficulty re-signing him permanently, looking at a resurgent Musa might not be the worst idea in the world.
While Musa is not an out-and-out winger like Kenedy, with Benitez’s coaching the Nigerian forward could prove to be a great signing for the Magpies due to his versatility and frightening pace.
