Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez will surely be desperate to bolster his ranks at St James’ Park this summer, in an effort to guide his side to an improvement upon their 10th placed finish in the Premier League table last term.
According to a report from the Chronicle, Rafa is prioritising the addition of an established number 10, and with that in mind, the Magpies should consider rescuing Davy Klaassen from his Everton nightmare.

The 25-year-old possesses exceptional technical ability, and despite his struggles at Everton, genuine class is not lost overnight.

In his last season at Ajax, Klaassen racked up an impressive 20 goals and 12 assists in 50 appearances in all competitions, and if he could find that kind of form again, what a signing he could be for Newcastle.
Turkish media outlet Fotomac claims that Everton value the Dutchman at around £14 million, and if the Toon could pick him up for that amount, it could very well turn out to be an excellent signing for them.
