Newcastle are reportedly looking to complete a number of loan signings from bigger clubs this summer.

Newcastle United manager Rafa Benitez is seen during the Premier League match between Newcastle United and Chelsea at St. James Park on May 13, 2018 in Newcastle upon Tyne, England.

Rafa Benitez is reportedly looking to lure a number of fringe players from the Premier League’s biggest clubs to Newcastle United this summer, so should he consider a move for Tottenham Hotspur’s Georges Kevin N’Koudou?

The Chronicle claim The Toon will once again consider temporary moves for players they believe could be allowed to leave the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea.

Benitez adopted a similar method in the transfer market last season, bringing in Chelsea’s Brazilian star Kenedy on loan and looking to sign the likes of Liverpool’s Daniel Sturridge and Danny Ings, as well as Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham.

Now, he is expected to do the same, with owner Mike Ashley unlikely to give him a huge transfer outlay to splash on new signings as the Toon look to finish in the top half of the table again.

It should see Newcastle consider a move for Spurs winger N’Koudou, despite a difficult spell in north London and most recently a poor loan spell with Burnley.

N’Koudou, 23, is likely to be allowed to leave Spurs this summer as he has failed to break past the likes of Lucas Moura, Son Heung-min, Erik Lamela and Moussa Sissoko during his time in north London.

It saw the former Marseille and Nantes star move on loan to Burnley last January, but Sean Dyche hardly gave the six-time France Under-21 international a chance to shine at Turf Moor.

Newcastle could do with additions out wide, with Kenedy set to return to Chelsea and Jacob Murphy hardly proving his £12million transfer fee. He would provide strong competition alongside Christian Atsu and Matt Ritchie.

N’Koudou’s stock is seemingly low, but if he is finally given a decent chance, his raw talent, speed and eye for goal could light up the Premier League. Newcastle should give him that chance.
