Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers should bring Liverpool’s Sheyi Ojo to Ibrox on loan.
According to Goal.com, Sheyi Ojo is likely to leave Liverpool on loan in the summer transfer window, and maybe Steven Gerrard’s Rangers should strike a deal to bring the youngster to Ibrox.
Ojo spent the 2017-18 campaign on loan at Fulham from Liverpool, and although the Cottagers won promotion to the Premier League, the winger’s performances were not exactly great.
The 20-year-old scored four goals and provided two assists in 18 Championship starts for Fulham this past season, which also saw him severely affected by a dislocated shoulder and a leg injury, as reported by The Liverpool Echo.
It remains to be seen if Fulham want Ojo back on loan at Craven Cottage for the 2018-19 Premier League campaign, but nevertheless Rangers should also be an option for the England Under-21 international winger.
With Gerrard now in charge of Rangers, the Liverpool legend has already signed Ovie Ejaria on loan from the Merseyside outfit, and perhaps Ojo should be on his radar as well.
The 20-year-old winger is a very talented and promising young player who can score goals as well as create chances, and having already played for the Liverpool first team, he would not be fazed at the prospect of turning out in front of 50,000 fans at Ibrox.
Ojo needs to be playing regular first-team football, and given that the winger is unlikely to get that at Liverpool, it would be smart of the Merseyside outfit to send him out on loan in the summer transfer window.
