The Manchester City defender could be a useful addition to the Leicester City squad.

Leicester boss Claude Puel faces an incredibly difficult week or so ahead, with Harry Maguire’s future at the King Power Stadium growing increasingly more uncertain with every day that passes.
If the 25-year-old centre-back does end up leaving Leicester, Puel will obviously have to bring in defensive reinforcements, and with this in mind, he should perhaps consider a move for Manchester City’s Eliaquim Mangala.
The 27-year-old joined City from Porto in the summer of 2014, for a fee believed to be worth in the region of £32 million, but he has since struggled to establish himself at the Etihad.
That is not to say that he doesn’t still have a lot to offer at the very highest level, though, and it could be argued that he hasn’t been given ample opportunity to showcase his true worth during his time in Manchester.
Standing at 6ft 2in tall, and powerfully built, Mangala is extremely strong in the air, but he is also quick along the ground, and he has all of the ingredients required to be a really top class defender.

He has plenty of years left ahead of him too, before he reaches his peak physically, and with just one year remaining on his current contract at the Etihad, Leicester might just be able to secure themselves a real bargain.
And if Puel does manage to bring the Frenchman to the King Power Stadium this summer, it could turn out to be a signing of real significance for the Foxes.
