Leeds tried to sign the player in 2014 but he headed to Italy instead.
Birmingham City are reportedly interested in Palermo attacking midfielder Robin Quaison.
Today the Birmingham Mail reports that Gianfranco Zola is hopeful of signing the Swede from Serie A side Palermo.
Quaison is out of contract at the Italian club in the summer and the interested parties are hopeful of bringing him in now on the cheap or successfully negotiating a pre-contract agreement for the summer.

But should Leeds United try and muscle in on the move?
Leeds have good links with Palermo already and have done business with the side in the past. The Italian side have recently appointed Massimo Cellino’s friend and former Leeds sporting director Nicola Salerno in the same role at the club.
Leeds also have two Swedish players already. Marcus Antonsson will not be known to Quaison but he will know Pontus Jansson from Swedish international duty at under-21 and senior level.

The club even tried bringing him to Elland Road before. Leeds were linked with his signature, as reported by Tuttosport, back in 2014 but he joined Palermo from AIK instead.
Now would present Leeds with a chance to make a move for the player again, especially considering their lofty position in the Championship table.
