Leeds United must renew an interest in Tottenham Hotspur defender Juan Foyth

Whisper it, but Leeds United might be a Premier League team once again come May.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side are top of the Championship, with a five-point cushion in the automatic promotion places.
Leeds can’t quite taste promotion yet, but it’s certainly there for them and a good January transfer window might well be key.
One position that the Whites might hope to strengthen is central defence, and Bielsa should ask Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino about Juan Foyth.
According to Doble Amarilla, Boca Juniors want to sign the 20-year-old defender on loan and if he’s available, the Elland Road side need to enquire about his services.
Foyth is a young player with enormous potential but with Davinson Sanchez fit again for Tottenham, Pochettino might not need him during the second half of the campaign.
Leeds have endured a crisis of centre-back options at times this season, and what a coup the Argentina international could be for Bielsa.

Bielsa, who signed Pochettino for Newell’s Old Boys in 1985, has a good relationship with the Spurs boss, who even described the 63-year-old as a second father to him and said that he ‘owes him everything'[Daily Mail].
There is every chance that he would sanction a temporary transfer to Yorkshire.
Foyth, who cost the North Londoners £8 million in 2017 [Daily Mail], was linked with a move to Leeds earlier this season [AS Argentina] and even praised Bielsa in a subsequent interview with Fox Sports.
