Celtic midfielder Liam Henderson would be a good signing for Leeds United in the January transfer window.

Liam Henderson is a very promising and talented young midfielder, but the 21-year-old is struggling for playing time at Celtic.
The youngster has made only a handful of first-team appearances in the Scottish Premiership and is featuring mainly for Celtic’s development side at the moment.
Given the quality of players that manager Brendan Rodgers has in midfield, one can understand why the Scotland Under-21 international has found it tough to play regularly for the senior side.
Henderson can still make an impact in the long term, but for now the youngster needs to play regular competitive football.
Enter Leeds United.

Leeds have a number of midfielders, but not everyone has made a huge impact at Elland Road this season.
Mateusz Klich is not getting games, while Pawel Cibicki is only just starting to get minutes under head coach Thomas Christiansen.
Henderson is an all-around midfielder who can operate in central midfield or in a more attacking role and has experience of playing in Champions League playoffs.
Having played for Celtic, the youngster is quite familiar with the pressure for turning out for a big club, and would not be fazed playing in front of over 30,000 fans at Elland Road.

With his contract running out at the end of this season, the Scottish youngster could be persuaded to leave Celtic Park in January, at least on a temporary basis.
Signing Henderson would be a risk for Leeds, but the West Yorkshire outfit should at least make a loan offer for the 21-year-old for until the end of the season.
The Championship is a long season, and having an energetic, dynamic and hungry young player in midfielder is only going to enhance Leeds’s chances of finishing in the top six this season.
According to The Scottish Sun, Henderson is set for a trial at Bari in Serie B in Italy, but there is still time for Leeds to make an approach and hijack the deal.
