The Swedish international will become a free agent on June 30th.

Today saw Fulham announce their released players list for the summer with some players of note included. The Championship side confirmed on their official website that Dan Burn, Shaun Hutchinson and Jamie O’Hara have all been released- as have Stephen Arthurworrey, Liam Donnelly, Shane Elworthy, Jordan Evans, Dean O’Halloran, Ian Pino Soler, Ange-Freddy Plumain and Aaron Redford.
Another name on that list was Alexander Kacaniklic.

So should Leeds United make a move for the Swedish international?
Leeds need more wide options. At the moment they only have the likes of Stuart Dallas and Jordan Botaka as recognised wide-men. Whilst others have performed the role a specialist is needed and the 24-year-old would represent a freebie nobody should pass up.

He has struggled in recent times at Craven Cottage and spent the first half of the 2014-15 season on loan at Copenhagen.
But he is a gifted wide man with nearly 20 caps for his country and three goals. Leeds do not currently have a naturally left-footed wide man and a very capable one has just become available.

Snapping up Kacaniklic is simply a no-brainer.
