Should Leeds United look at Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Leo Bonatini, if Wolves don’t sign him up?

Wolverhampton Wanderers booked their promotion to the Premier League this past weekend with a 4-0 demolition of Bolton Wanderers.
It had been a long time coming for Wolves and, after winning the Championship, Nuno Espirito Santo will already have one eye on this summer’s transfer window.
There will be incomings, which means there will be outgoings and one man who would do well to get a permanent deal is Leo Bonatini.
The Brazilian striker, 24, has done his bit in helping Wolves to the top flight, scoring 12 goals, but he hasn’t found the net since December and such a barren spell is threatening his permanent move from Al-Hilal, after joining on loan last summer.
If Wanderers do part company then Leeds should consider bringing him to Elland Road.

Despite a rough spell in front of goal, Bonatini has proven that he can be a big player in the Championship and Leeds need as many of them as they can find this summer.
The Whites are 12th in the division and look set for a mid-table finish, despite a superb first half of the campaign, and someone of Bonatini’s talents could come in very handy next season.
According to The Birmingham Mail, he could be available for around £5 million and although it’s far from cheap, it might be a very decent investment; not only because what he has done this season, but because of what he could do next season.
A nine-month Championship campaign was always going to be tough for a South American who joined from a Saudi Arabian club, but a second season might allow him to flourish more regularly next term and the price-tag, combined with the promise he has shown already, means it could be a sound bet.
