Liverpool are considering loaning out Ryan Kent in January, so should Leeds United make a move?

The Sun reports that Leeds were keen to land the winger before he joined Freiburg, so should the Whites put themselves back in the running if the Reds decide to bring him back to Anfield in January in the hope of loaning him out to an English side?

Leeds probably do have more options out on the wing this season than they have had for a long time, with Gjanni Alioski, Pablo Hernandez and Stuart Dallas among the wide options Thomas Christiansen has at his disposal.
Alioski and Hernandez have been terrific lately, and Dallas rarely lets the side down when he gets a chance, but beyond that, there is perhaps not the depth that can allow Christiansen to be confident that he can let January pass without adding to his options.

Given that Leeds have the quality to settle for a short-term answer if necessary, it seems that Kent may be an ideal target if he is available during the winter.
After such a disappointing spell in Germany, he would arrive at Elland Road with a real point to prove, and that may perhaps help push Alioski and Hernandez to maintain their current high levels and give Leeds the depth that allows them to bring on a dangerous wide option during the latter stages of games – and that could be a real difference-maker if Leeds are in the promotion mix towards the end of the season.
