Both players are likely to feature for Leeds United but how will they line up?
Caleb Ekuban’s latest injury blow means Leeds United will be without the forward for this weekend’s clash against Norwich City, but two players who did well last time out should both start seven days on.
Pawel Cibicki came off the bench for Ekuban against Queens Park Rangers, and the Swedish forward played brilliantly with Kemar Roofe.
Now the summer signing could be in line for his first Championship start, yet Leeds boss Thomas Christiansen has a decision to mark regarding his central striker.
Either player can operate in that position, with the other likely to start on the left of an attacking three along with Samu Saiz and Ezgjan Alioski. But getting that decision right could be the difference between winning and losing against the Canaries.
Roofe is arguably the better option to play centrally, given his impact for Leeds this season and his history of playing up front for former club Oxford United.
However, giving Cibicki the central role could allow Roofe to run into space created by his attacking partner, with the latter arguably the better option when it comes to wing play.
The Swede may have a batter chance of playing his way into the game by playing up front, where the focus will be less on tracking back and more on ensuring any chances are put away.
This is one for Christiansen to get right, with Leeds looking to build some momentum heading into the festive fixtures.
