Queens Park Rangers are reportedly interested in Barnsley’s Tom Bradshaw. Should Leeds join the race?

Leeds United are firmly in the race for promotion to the Premier League, and they should be looking to bring in one or two players in the January transfer window to bolster the squad.

One of the areas where Thomas Christiansen should be looking to bolster is the attacking department. With only 17 goals scored at home, fewer than any other top seven Championship clubs, it is quite clear where the priority lies.

Summer signing Pierre-Michel Lasogga has managed only five league goals so far. Kemar Roofe has led the line over the past two months but has only managed four goals, with three of those coming in one game.

Therefore, it is indeed vital for the club to sign a good striker to boost their playoff chances. Should they move for Barnsley’s Tom Bradshaw in January?

The 25-year-old striker is in demand, with the Sunday People (printed edition; 31/12/2017 -page 52) reporting that three Championship clubs – Reading, QPR, and Ipswich – are interested in signing him.

Bradshaw, who joined Barnsley in 2016, has scored 11 goals in all competitions for the Tykes this season. Barnsley have been struggling in the Championship this season, and it could be the perfect time to test the Tykes’ resolve.
