The Derby County goalkeeper could be reportedly sold this summer.

Derby County goalkeeper Scott Carson could be set to suffer a personal double blow, after the Rams missed out on promotion. Not only has he missed out on a return to the Premier League, but he be reportedly sacrificed this summer.
Matej Vydra is another high-profile casualty, as is Richard Keogh and Ikechi Anya. But with Carson now well into his thirties, his chances of returning to the Premier League are slowly dying.

It should convince the former Liverpool goalkeeper to shake things up and consider a move to former club Leeds United, with his three-season spell at Derby hardly proving profitable.
A return to Elland Road could bring the best out of Carson and boost Leeds’ chances of finishing in the top six, helping eachother in their quest for Premier League football.
The Whites are desperately in need of a new goalkeeper this summer, with summer signing Felix Wiedwald being completely ostracised by Paul Heckingbottom. Bailey Peacock-Farrell has replaced him impressively, but is still young.

Leeds need an experienced head at the back to help them solidify what has been a leaky defence this season, and push towards the top six – just like Rob Green did during the 2016-17 season.
Why not a former Leeds stopper in Carson, then, to give the Whites’ rearguard a much more stable and solid look?
Carson only managed three appearances at Leeds before joining Liverpool in 2005, but huge second-tier experience and a reputation as one of the best goalkeepers outside the Premier League would surely make him a superb summer signing.
